What happened: Caleb Wilson registered the first slam and the first three-pointer of his NBA career during Thursday's opening game of the 2026-27 regular season.

Why it matters: The perimeter and interior milestones carry his preseason scoring rhythm into live regular-season rotation minutes after he scored 12 points in the opening six minutes of a third quarter on Oct. 10.

What to watch: Wilson's rotation minutes and shot volume from beyond the arc will be tracked across the opening week of the 2026-27 schedule.
