What happened: Caleb Wilson's three-point shooting drew notice from reporter Law Murray, who said Wilson's ceiling tops the rest of his draft class if he keeps shooting the way he has. Fan reaction pointed to a 7-of-11 night from beyond the arc, a sharp turn from his pre-draft reputation as a below-average shooter.

Why it matters: Wilson entered the league without a reliable jumper as part of his scouting profile, so instances of him hitting from deep reset expectations for his role and long-term upside. The shooting comes as Wilson works through his Summer League debut with Chicago.

By the numbers: Wilson shot 7 of 11 from three-point range in the outing fans referenced, against a pre-draft profile that pegged him as a poor outside shooter.

What to watch: Watch whether Wilson sustains the shooting clip as Summer League play continues with the Bulls.
