What happened: Campbell's remarks came during a live podium session that put fresh attention on Wonnum's work off the edge. The discussion followed a performance that drew immediate reaction around Wonnum's two sacks and backfield disruption.

Why it matters: That matters because Wonnum was already being tracked as a core piece in 2026 defensive planning, and public praise from Campbell can foreshadow a bigger workload. When a coach highlights a pass rusher by name, it usually reflects trust that can carry into snap share and late-down usage.

What to watch: The next game and Campbell's next availability should show whether this was a one-week spike or the start of a larger role for Wonnum.
