From @TSN690 - @ArponBasu on the outdoor game, Oliver Kapanen on Montreal's top line, the Habs being 5-1-1 over their la Via @TSNHockey on X

What happened: Oliver Kapanen has moved to the top line with Nick Suzuki sidelined. Jacob Fowler has delivered calm, winning goaltending while Phil Danault has absorbed heavier defensive assignments.

Why it matters: Holding a 5-1-1 stretch without the captain keeps Montreal from losing ground in the early standings. Stable center play from Kapanen and Danault lets the club keep its lines intact rather than shuffling the roster.

By the numbers: Montreal is 5-1-1 over its last seven games.

What to watch: Watch whether Kapanen sticks on the top unit and how Fowler's starts are managed coming out of the outdoor game.
