Habs Ice Chips from @KenzieTSN - The Canadiens' special teams are in focus as they play back-to-backs against Buffalo an Via @TSNHockey on X

What happened: Montreal opens against Buffalo with that game scheduled and scoreless at 0-0. Washington follows on the second night.

Why it matters: Consecutive-night sets compress recovery and rotation decisions. Special-teams efficiency decides short-rest margins without extra practice time.

What to watch: The measure will be special-teams execution across both nights.
