What happened: Carolina announced the move Wednesday during the 2026-27 regular season. Nadeau entered camp competing for a roster spot, with his camp push covered last month.

Why it matters: The move stocks extra forward depth as Carolina manages the early regular-season schedule. It allows lineup flexibility without an outside addition.

What to watch: Nadeau's status for the next game will show whether he draws in or remains as extra depth.
