What happened: Arizona formalized the designations after Sunday's 36-24 loss to the Giants. Paris Johnson Jr. tore his left biceps in that defeat and is out for the season. The club promoted Teagan Quitoriano from the practice squad and added Kenny Yeboah and Austin Deculus for depth.

Why it matters: Losing the starting left tackle forces a reshuffle in pass protection for the 2026 regular season. Keeping Quitoriano plus Yeboah maintains tight-end depth without Long. Deculus gives Arizona immediate tackle

By the numbers: Paris Johnson Jr.: 2023 No. Hunter Long, acquired Aug. 30: 12 catches for 85 yards and 2 touchdowns in 9 games in 2025 with Jacksonville. Teagan Quitoriano: 1 tackle in 17 games in 2025 with Atlanta.

What to watch: Watch who takes first-team reps at left tackle in practice and how tight-end snaps divide going forward.
