What happened: The Arizona Cardinals placed right guard Isaiah Adams on injured reserve with an ankle injury, sidelining him for at least the next four games. Jon Gaines II will start at right guard, while rookie Jayden Williams takes over at left tackle for Paris Johnson Jr., who is out for the season. In a corresponding move, the Cardinals signed cornerback Art Green to the active roster.

Why it matters: The reshuffled offensive line faces an immediate test as the organization also prepares for a major roster departure. Wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. will be a healthy scratch Sunday while the team finalizes an expected trade to the Texans.

By the numbers: Adams logged one tackle in 17 games during the 2025 season, while Harrison caught 41 passes for 608 yards and four touchdowns. Green made 11 appearances with the Giants last year, recording 11 tackles.

What to watch: Watch for the official announcement of the Harrison trade and the performance of the new-look offensive line against Detroit.
