What happened: The move adds a running back to the game-day roster from the practice squad. Smith and McGraw were elevated for the matchup as additional defensive front options.

Why it matters: The transactions reshape depth at running back and along the defensive front just before kickoff. Washington is in his first NFL season, while Mazi Smith joined the roster on Sept. 1.

What to watch: Inactive lists will show whether Washington slots into the backfield rotation and how much work Smith and McGraw draw up front. Any move after #MIAvsMIN will clarify whether the reshuffle was a one-game need or a longer look.
