What happened: Cascades FC announced Robinson as an attacking left back ahead of its USL League One debut. The deal is pending league and federation approval. Coach Darren Sawatzky cited Robinson's two-way play and left-foot service from the left side.

Why it matters: An expansion club's first signing sets its roster baseline and community profile. Robinson arrives after starting Auckland's 2-1 win over South Melbourne FC in the OFC Professional League final. His production going forward gives Sawatzky a defined width option for the inaugural squad.

By the numbers: Robinson scored six goals with five assists in 50 appearances for Sporting Kansas City II and Auckland FC. He posted five goals and three assists in 32 starts during Auckland's inaugural OFC Pro League campaign. In 2023 at Western Michigan, he tied the program single-season record with 13 assists, second in the NCAA.

What to watch: Cascades FC continues its inaugural roster build under Sawatzky. Robinson will join preseason activity once approval is complete.
