What happened: Casemiro has agreed a three-year deal with Inter Miami, and the contract is set to be officially signed in the coming days. The move is complete and confirmed after the talks first emerged in March.

Why it matters: The Brazil midfielder arrives as a free agent following his Manchester United departure, handing Inter Miami a decorated veteran for the middle of its pitch. The deal continues the club's effort to stack its roster with established international names.

What to watch: The official announcement is expected within the next few days, after which Inter Miami can fold him into the squad.
