What happened: The Cleveland Cavaliers signed Israeli point guard Noam Yaacov to a non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contract for the NBA preseason. The 21-year-old joins the organization's training camp roster after a professional stint in Belgium.

Why it matters: An Exhibit 10 agreement allows Yaacov to compete for a roster spot while securing his G League rights for the Cleveland Charge if he is waived. The addition provides the Cavaliers with another backcourt option to evaluate during the exhibition schedule.

What to watch: Cleveland will assess Yaacov's fit in camp ahead of their October 22 regular-season opener against the 76ers.
