What happened: Seattle running back Zach Charbonnet and Minnesota running back Jordan Mason have realistic chances to play in Week 7. Charbonnet was designated to return to practice Oct. 1 after opening on PUP following offseason knee surgery.

Why it matters: Seattle and Minnesota would regain core rotation options during the regular season. Available backs reset carry distribution and short-yardage assignments in October.

By the numbers: Charbonnet ran 184 times for 730 yards and 12 touchdowns in 16 games in 2025. Mason ran 159 times for 758 yards and 6 touchdowns in 16 games in 2025.

What to watch: Watch practice participation through the week for final Week 7 availability.
