“The decision making was indefensible.” —@danorlovsky7 on what went wrong for Justin Herbert and the Chargers against S Via @ESPNNFL on X

What happened: Dan Orlovsky aimed the "indefensible" assessment at Justin Herbert. Los Angeles Chargers closed with 23 in the 23-30 final.

Why it matters: The critique places the defeat on quarterback choices rather than supporting cast. That focus sharpens scrutiny on Herbert entering the next preparation cycle.

What to watch: Watch Herbert's decision sequence and Los Angeles response in the next game.
