What happened: CBS Sports paired Mack with cornerback Donte Jackson, wideout Quentin Johnston and tight end David Njoku as potential moves. Jackson is on an expiring contract after nine interceptions from 2024-2025, while Johnston has been cited as a poor scheme fit and Njoku went on injured reserve Sept. 23.

Why it matters: Los Angeles can convert Jackson's expiring deal into value rather than lose him for nothing. Johnston's role and Njoku's absence clarify which pass-catchers and defensive snaps turn over down the stretch.

What to watch: Watch the Week 6 depth chart and deadline week for whether any of the four draws an offer.
