What happened: Dan Orlovsky credited Steve Spagnuolo's Kansas City defense with forcing offenses into its preferred looks on NFL Live. Kansas City closed Sunday with a 30-27 final.

Why it matters: Defensive control matters in the AFC West race with Las Vegas at 3-0 entering Week 4 against Kansas City. A return to form on that side eases pressure on an injury-hit receiving group linked to Tyreek Hill chatter.

What to watch: Watch whether Kansas City carries the same pre-snap control into its next outing.
