What happened: Cincinnati holds a 37-18 advantage over No. 8 Texas Tech with the regular-season matchup in progress. The Bearcats have built their cushion on home turf despite playing without running back Gi'Bran Payne, who was ruled out before kickoff.

Why it matters: Texas Tech entered Saturday's contest with an unblemished record and a No. 8 national ranking. Trailing on the road puts the Red Raiders' perfect start in jeopardy as play continues.

What to watch: Play remains live in Cincinnati as the Bearcats work to protect their 37-18 cushion and the Red Raiders attempt to rally.
