What happened: The game went final with LA ahead by three in preseason play. It was the first LA game for the sharpshooter since the Peyton Watson trade, with a preseason injury suffered in that debut.

Why it matters: The result gives LA an early look at rotation options around the new acquisition. Preseason minutes carry added weight while availability for the incoming group is established.

By the numbers: Final: 104-101. Rui Hachimura: 21 PTS, 5 REB, 0 AST. Darius Garland: 15 PTS, 3 REB, 6 AST. Keaton Wagler: 15 PTS, 6 REB, 3 AST.

What to watch: Watch for an update on the injured sharpshooter and how LA adjusts preseason rotation minutes.
