What happened: The Clippers said their KTLA coverage will begin Oct. 14 with a preseason game against Denver. The announcement puts a date on the team's return to the station ahead of the 2026-27 season.

Why it matters: A local over-the-air window broadens access during preseason, when roster decisions and rotation tests start to shift from camp to games. For the Clippers, it also sets the first TV checkpoint on the preseason calendar.

By the numbers: KTLA is slated to air one preseason game and 10 regular-season Clippers broadcasts in 2026-27.

What to watch: The next marker is Oct. 14, when the preseason telecast opens against Denver. The rest of the KTLA package will determine how much of the early 2026-27 schedule lands on the station.
