What happened: The LA Clippers will hold a jersey swap for fans at their season opener Wednesday night. The event centers a playing group with little connection to the offseason punishments and a head coach opening with a remade roster.

Why it matters: The giveaway gives the franchise an early goodwill moment with home supporters. A remade group gets its first game together to establish its identity.

What to watch: The opener marks the start of the 2026-27 campaign tonight.
