The LA Clippers have waived Fletcher Loyer, opening a training camp spot if they wish to fill it Via @LawMurrayTheNU on X

What happened: Los Angeles made the move Tuesday during 2026-27 preseason camp. The club now carries an open camp berth it can use before preseason games continue.

Why it matters: Open camp spots decide G League rights and Exhibit 10 bonus eligibility at the roster fringe. Holding one vacancy preserves flexibility to add another camp body or enter the season light.

What to watch: Watch whether Los Angeles fills the vacancy or holds it through the rest of camp.
