What happened: Detroit Tigers second baseman Colt Keith delivered a Keith finished 3-for-4 with six RBIs, including a bases-loaded hit-by-pitch in the first inning before launching homers in the third, seventh, and ninth innings.

Why it matters: The power surge marks Keith's first career multi-homer game and signals a significant breakout for the young infielder who had entered the night with just one home run on the season. The win helps the Tigers gain momentum in the American League standings following a series that saw the two teams trade punches during a physical matchup earlier in the week.

What to watch: The Tigers continue their road trip as they look to build on this offensive explosion in the series finale against Houston.
