What happened: Washington shifted tight end Colson Yankoff to the emergency role Sunday. Athan Kaliakmanis took over the offense following the injury to Mariota.

Why it matters: Yankoff gives the team a final option under center if Kaliakmanis is also sidelined. The third-year professional previously played the position as a four-star high school recruit.

What to watch: The coaching staff will proceed with Kaliakmanis while Mariota undergoes medical evaluation.
