What happened: Connor Zary was placed on waivers Monday. The transaction opens a league-wide claim window before any assignment can proceed.

Why it matters: The move trims camp competition ahead of the 2026-27 season. Zary entered camp targeting a fast start after an offseason reset.

What to watch: Claim results will determine whether Zary remains on the roster or moves off it this week.
