A PERFECT THROW FROM CONTRERAS 🤯 William Contreras delivers a dart to third base! https://t.co/EaFF1MyaiN Via @MLB on X

What happened: William Contreras caught a runner stealing third base, and the out ended the inning.

Why it matters: The Brewers are in the World Series after an NL pennant that ended a wait dating to 1982. Contreras has helped at the plate too. His first-inning RBI single made it 2-0 in the World Series opener, and he has been a steady producer this October.

What to watch: Contreras and Liam Hicks are the two catchers in this World Series. Whether opposing baserunners keep running on Contreras could shape how aggressive they are for the rest of the series.
