What happened: Flagg spent time at PGA headquarters working on his short game. The visit included a free-throw-style chip as the Dallas Mavericks standout stepped away from basketball work for a golf session in Frisco.

Why it matters: The stop keeps Flagg in the spotlight as Dallas moves through preseason buildup for 2026-27. It also adds to the off-court run for the same Cooper Flagg who hit a trick shot for campers at summer ProCamp.

What to watch: Attention shifts back to camp as Flagg and the Mavericks continue their preseason buildup. The next item to watch is when Dallas gets back on the floor for live action.
