What happened: Waldo Cortes-Acosta stated he expects to knock out Johnny Walker in their upcoming main event, questioning his opponent's durability. Cortes-Acosta argued that Walker struggled to absorb punches at 205 pounds and maintained that those chin concerns will persist at heavyweight.

Why it matters: The pairing serves as a short-notice main event after a previous headliner fell through due to injury. A stoppage victory offers either heavyweight an opportunity to accelerate their climb into the divisional rankings.

What to watch: UFC Vegas 124 takes place Saturday, Nov. 7, with the main card streaming at 8 p.m. ET.
