What happened: Adam Schefter reports George Pickens has not yet signed the franchise tag tender with the Dallas Cowboys. This follows reports last week that the Cowboys signed Pickens to a 1-year, $27.3M fully guaranteed deal after acquiring him in the NFL Draft first round. Social reactions question if the signing is finalized.

Why it matters: An unsigned tender prevents Pickens from practicing or playing, disrupting Cowboys' offseason prep for 2026 season. It reignites trade speculation despite the recent acquisition. Impacts WR depth and team planning ahead of training camp.

What to watch: Monitor for signing confirmation or trade developments.
