JAKE CRONENWORTH TAKES THE LEAD BACK FOR THE PADRES 🔥 (via @MLB) https://t.co/uRG9SXjKmD Via @SportsCenter on X

What happened: Jake Cronenworth hit a solo home run for the San Diego Padres. The homer restored the lead after San Diego had lost it.

Why it matters: Regaining the lead limits the damage of the conceded runs. October games turn on that kind of immediate response with little margin left.

What to watch: Watch whether San Diego holds the regained lead the rest of the way.
