What happened: Cruzeiro has reached an agreement with the LA Galaxy to sign winger Gabriel Pec, according to Tom Bogert and Paul Tenorio. The reported fee is $12 million plus $1.5 million in add-ons. Pec is expected to travel to Brazil in the coming days to formalize the move.

Why it matters: Losing Pec removes one of the Galaxy's most dynamic attacking pieces in the middle of the 2026 regular season, forcing the club to reshape its front line. The deal also marks a notable payday for a player who arrived as an under-the-radar signing and leaves as an eight-figure sale.

What to watch: Watch for the medical and official confirmation once Pec arrives in Brazil, and for how the Galaxy move to replace his production during the current season.
