What happened: Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott said the team must operate with immediate urgency to turn its season around. He described the locker room mindset as determined while acknowledging the roster can no longer fall back on having plenty of games left on the schedule.

Why it matters: The push for immediate results comes after Prescott lamented a home loss to a winless opponent earlier this month. Despite the early-season struggles, owner Jerry Jones signaled this week that the front office plans to buy rather than sell ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline.

What to watch: Dallas returns to action next Sunday at home against the Arizona Cardinals.
