What happened: The sudden offensive momentum broke a halftime tie and established a 59-51 advantage over the New York Liberty. The action unfolded at the start of the third quarter.

Why it matters: The Wings entered the contest riding a five-game winning streak and have controlled recent matchups against the Liberty. The perimeter make provided a highlight for Sims, who celebrated her birthday last week.

By the numbers: Breanna Stewart has a game-high 15 points alongside seven rebounds and five assists. Arike Ogunbowale paces Dallas with 13 points, three rebounds and five assists.

What to watch: The Liberty will look to reduce the eight-point deficit as the third quarter continues.
