What happened: The Dallas Wings have signed Haley Jones to a developmental contract. The deal marks a return for Jones to the Dallas roster.

Why it matters: Developmental deals give a team added depth and a look at a player in practice and limited game settings without a full roster commitment. For a Wings squad in the thick of its season, the move adds a familiar option to the rotation pool.

What to watch: Watch whether Jones earns a path to regular minutes or a standard contract as the season progresses.
