What happened: Dan Orlovsky questioned the NFL scheduling the Detroit Lions against the Minnesota Vikings, the Buffalo Bills against the Baltimore Ravens, and the Cleveland Browns against the Pittsburgh Steelers concurrently in the 1 p.m. ET window next Sunday instead of staggering them across standalone broadcast slots.

Why it matters: Placing all three matchups in the early Sunday window crowds two AFC North and NFC North divisional games alongside a meeting between AFC playoff contenders. Detroit and Minnesota already hold a Dec. 20 Sunday night slot later in the season, which limits the league's flexibility to flex their first meeting into primetime.

By the numbers: Buffalo holds the No. 2 seed at 5-1 on a two-game winning streak after a 33-30 victory on Oct. 18, while ninth-seeded Baltimore sits at 4-3 on a two-game skid following a 35-13 loss on Oct. 25. Third-seeded Cleveland enters at 5-2 with two straight wins after a 27-24 victory on Oct. 25.

What to watch: All three games kick off at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 1, before Minnesota hosts Buffalo on Monday night on Nov. 9.
