What happened: Darius Acuff dismissed outside talk regarding his shot attempts, saying he is focused on getting better for his team rather than media commentary. The Kings rookie credited Sacramento's veteran core for offering guidance throughout practices and games. Acuff added that his relationship with the veterans is great as they provide feedback both good and bad.

Why it matters: Acuff's comments address external scrutiny surrounding Sacramento's locker room dynamics and offensive hierarchy. Establishing trust between the rookie ball-handler and experienced teammates is critical to roster cohesion. Continued veteran guidance offers stability as the team works through early-season adjustments.

What to watch: The Sacramento Kings host the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday at 10:00 PM ET.
