What happened: Daulton Varsho was singled out with a cheese-curds line as Toronto leaned into a fan-friendly bit around the outfielder. The moment lands the same day the club’s account was pushing All-Star finalist voting, with Varsho described as close in the outfield race.

Why it matters: For Varsho, the attention keeps him visible during a stretch shaped by both fan voting and his recent health watch. It also gives Toronto another light-touch way to rally engagement around a player who has been part of the club’s current-season conversation.

What to watch: Watch whether Varsho gains ground before voting closes at noon ET and whether his availability remains steady after the earlier wrist issue.
