What happened: D.C. United is set to acquire forward Nathan Ordaz from LAFC, according to Tom Bogert. Ordaz, 22, is a product of LAFC's academy and represents El Salvador at the international level.

Why it matters: The move gives Ordaz a path to more first-team minutes after limited playing time behind LAFC's attacking depth. It also marks another academy product exiting the club this offseason, following the recent loan of midfielder Matt Evans to Wacker Innsbruck.

By the numbers: Ordaz made 98 first-team appearances for LAFC, recording 9 goals and 4 assists across 2,163 minutes over the last two seasons.

What to watch: Official confirmation from LAFC and D.C. United would settle terms and timing of the move.
