What happened: PFF placed three first-round picks among its 12 highest-graded rookies. Delane went sixth overall out of LSU, while Styles went seventh and Downs 11th out of Ohio State.

Why it matters: Early top-12 grades signal immediate defensive impact from three top-11 picks. Mansoor Delane tops man-coverage grades at 93.8, separating from fellow first-round corners.

By the numbers: Delane: No. 2 rookie, 93.8 man-coverage grade; Downs: No. 7 rookie; Styles: No. 12 rookie, 5 tackles, 1 INT, 1 forced fumble in Week 3 award game.

What to watch: Watch whether Delane holds the rookie lead into the Week 5 grades. Downs and Styles get further full-time tests in October.
