What happened: Édier Ocampo received birthday wishes Saturday. He is coming off his first Colombia call-up for the fall window.

Why it matters: That call-up pushed Ocampo into a more meaningful stretch of the year as MLS heads toward the end of the regular season. The next development that matters is whether he turns that attention into more club minutes or another national-team look.

What to watch: Watch for Ocampo's next appearance and for any follow-up selection when the next Colombia squad comes into focus.
