What happened: He was named in the starting lineup for the friendly in New Jersey. The appearance follows his first inclusion in the fall window squad last month.

Why it matters: A first cap adds senior international minutes to Ocampo's load as the MLS regular season moves into its stretch run. It also completes a quick rise from his first fall-window call-up to an opening-lineup assignment.

What to watch: The next watch is whether this becomes the first of several caps during the fall window. His club minutes over the next few MLS matches should shape that track.
