Why it matters: The transaction reshuffles the bullpen mix for Los Angeles. The decision comes shortly after the Dodgers added Hernández to the active roster on August 14.

By the numbers: The Los Angeles Dodgers are 75-49 this season. The Los Angeles Dodgers lead the series 2-0 against the Colorado Rockies, with the game status scheduled.

What to watch: Stewart rejoins the active bullpen as Los Angeles proceeds with its series against Colorado.
