What happened: The placement marks the first time Ohtani has batted lower than second in a Dodgers postseason lineup. The game sits 1-1 in progress.

Why it matters: The table-setter spot shapes early at-bat matchups in a tied series. A 1-1 game in progress keeps late-inning order construction in focus.

What to watch: Watch where Ohtani hits in the next game of this 1-1 series.
