What happened: Josue De Paula, a late rookie call-up, has been placed on the Dodgers' postseason roster. The move carries his late-season promotion straight into October.

Why it matters: Keeping De Paula available gives Los Angeles another bat as its postseason game waits to begin. It also extends the role for Josue De Paula after his late-season jump to the majors.

What to watch: Next comes where De Paula fits once the postseason game begins. His usage will show how much of a role the Dodgers envision for the rookie bat.
