What happened: Los Angeles reordered its lineup for Game 3 against left-hander Robert Gasser. Will Smith slides to seventh and Miguel Rojas starts at third base.

Why it matters: The shuffle loads right-handed options against a left-handed starter. Rojas kept his NLCS roster spot when Los Angeles carried 13 pitchers.

What to watch: Game 3 will show whether the reworked bottom half generates offense. The result sets up rotation and lineup choices for Game 4.
