What happened: Russ Dorsey said on Yahoo Sports Daily that Los Angeles continues to back Shohei Ohtani despite his playoff slump. The remarks arrived with Game 3 still scheduled to start and the score listed at 0-0.

Why it matters: The focus is lineup stability with the same Shohei Ohtani drawing concern for his slump still central to the order. The context is that the Milwaukee Brewers lead the series 2-0.

What to watch: The next checkpoint is the published lineup before first pitch for Ohtani's spot in the order. His early plate appearances will show whether contact quality changes.
