What happened: High temperatures are expected this weekend at UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers asked fans attending NLDS Game 1 and Game 2 to come prepared with caps, sunscreen and other protections.

Why it matters: The notice adds a fan-safety layer to the club's postseason opener at home. It also arrived the same day Los Angeles finalized its NLDS roster, sharpening focus on game-day conditions around the series opener.

What to watch: Watch for any further stadium guidance before first pitch and whether the advisory stays in place for Game 2.
