What happened: Kacmarek exited Sunday's game after suffering an injury to his quadriceps. Miami designated the rookie tight end as questionable to return.
Why it matters: Selected 87th overall out of Ohio State in the 2026 draft, Kacmarek provides supplemental blocking and depth at tight end. Any prolonged absence thins Miami's personnel packages in multiple-tight-end formations.
By the numbers: Kacmarek has caught 3 passes for 24 yards in 2026 through 7 games.
What to watch: Miami will evaluate Kacmarek's condition following Sunday's contest ahead of next week's practice schedule.
