What happened: Earlier expectations had Koby Brea joining the Dominican Republic for this qualifying window. The 12-man group is due to meet Brazil in Brasilia.

Why it matters: The roster change cuts the expected NBA contingent from two players to one. The Dominican Republic is trying to stay in the qualifying places after six games.

By the numbers: The Dominican Republic enters the window 4-2. Brea averaged 7.4 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists across five 2026 Summer League games.

What to watch: The five-day FIBA qualifying window begins Thursday.
