What happened: Andoni Iraola provided an update after both players left the field during Liverpool's victory against Brentford, per This Is Anfield. For Szoboszlai, the setback follows an earlier absence when he missed Liverpool's trip to LASK alongside Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo.

Why it matters: Losing two regular contributors simultaneously tests Liverpool's squad depth across both domestic and European fixtures. The simultaneous absences force immediate rotation adjustments on the flank and in midfield.

What to watch: Liverpool's medical staff will conduct further assessments before confirming a specific return window for either player.
