What happened: Dominique Malonga converted two quick baskets early in the game to spark the offense for Seattle, displaying the same interior touch she previously showcased against Toronto. The finishes generated immediate momentum in the high-stakes matchup against Las Vegas.

Why it matters: The production comes as Seattle navigates the 2026 postseason, leaning heavily on the center following her recent backing for Most Improved Player and All-WNBA honors. Generating early scoring at the rim is critical in playoff environments against top-tier opponents.

What to watch: Seattle will look to maintain its offensive rhythm and exploit interior matchups throughout the remainder of the contest.
